Correspondence

Correspondence lets you write and track letters and messages sent to your contacts, split into Open and History.

The Correspondence area is where you write letters and messages to your contacts and keep a record of what you have sent. A correspondence record is a single piece of written communication addressed to a contact — for example a letter, a notice, or a message you compose and send from Vinosoft. Keeping this correspondence in one place gives you a clear history of who you contacted, about what, and when.

Use it to draft a new piece of correspondence, edit it while you are still working on it, and look back at everything you have already sent.

Status tabs

The Correspondence area is split into two tabs so you can separate the correspondence you are still working on from the correspondence that is already finished. Switch between them from the navigation to change which records the list shows.

Open

The Open tab lists correspondence that is still active — records you have started but not yet completed or sent. A new piece of correspondence starts here, and it stays here while you draft, edit, and get it ready to go out.

From this tab you typically:

  • Create a new piece of correspondence for a contact.
  • Edit a record to adjust its recipient and content.
  • Keep track of what still needs to be finished or sent.

History

The History tab lists correspondence that is no longer active — records that have been sent or completed. Use it to look up past communication with a contact, review exactly what was written, or reprint an earlier letter.
