Read the dashboard and its widgets

Understand the widgets on your dashboard — rapid access, turnover, open invoices, tasks, and more.

The dashboard is the first screen you see after logging in. It is made up of widgets — small panels that each show one kind of information or a set of quick links, so you can check on your business at a glance.

Open the dashboard

The dashboard opens automatically when you log in. You can return to it any time by clicking the Vinosoft logo or the Home entry in the menu.

What the widgets show

Which widgets you see depends on your permissions and the modules your account uses. The most common ones are:

  • Rapid access — one-click links to the tasks you do most often: create a new quote, a new order confirmation, or a new invoice, and jump to order confirmations in progress, delivery notes, or invoices in progress.
  • Turnover and open invoices — key figures for your turnover and the invoices still waiting to be paid. This widget is only shown to users with access to the configuration.
  • Tasks — your open tasks, so you don't lose track of what's due.
  • Events — upcoming events and appointments from your records.
  • Transactions — recent shop transactions. Shown only if you have the Shop module.
  • News — announcements and product news.
  • Weather and search.ch — a local weather panel and a quick search.ch lookup for Swiss addresses and phone numbers.
  • Doodle — a quick link panel.
