Invoices in Finance

The accounting view of your invoices — net, tax and gross amounts per invoice and per tax code over a period, with an Excel export that totals VAT by tax.

The Finance invoices screen is the accounting view of your invoices. Instead of managing an invoice's lifecycle, it summarises the money and VAT behind your invoiced turnover so you can reconcile and export it.

Open the invoices view

Go to Finance → Invoices. The list shows your invoices with the client name and address, invoice number, invoiced date, payment date, status, tax name, and the net, tax and gross amounts. Only invoices that are paid or in progress and carry a tax are included.

Filter by period

Use the period filter to choose all invoices, a single year, or a custom date range. The list groups the figures by invoice and tax code so each tax rate is visible separately.

Export to Excel

Export the list to Excel to get a spreadsheet of the invoices plus a totals block at the bottom that sums the net, tax and gross amounts per tax code — handy for cross-checking a VAT period.
