Inventory (stock-take)
Check the current physical stock per article and storage, add or correct stock during a stock-take, export the count, and review or edit the correction history.
Inventory is your stock-take screen. It shows the current physical stock per article and storage, lets you enter counted quantities to add or correct stock, and keeps a history of every correction you make.
Open the inventory
Go to Statistics → Articles → Inventory. Each row shows one article at one storage:
- SKU and Description — the article.
- Manufacturer, Year, Size, Lot number — shown when your articles use them.
- Storage and Storage place — where the stock sits.
- Stock — the current recorded quantity.
- Reserved — quantity already committed to orders.
- Result stock — the quantity after a correction you enter (see below).
Filter the list
- Date — the date the count/correction is booked under.
- Article — limit to a single article.
- Description — match on the article description.
- Storage — limit to one storage location.
Add or correct stock
During a stock-take you enter what you actually counted and Vinosoft books the difference:
- Filter the list down to the articles you're counting.
- For each line, type the amount to book. A positive amount adds stock (an income movement); a negative amount removes it (an outcome movement).
- Optionally give the line its own description; otherwise the shared text for the whole correction is used.
- Set the date for the correction and a text describing it (for example "Annual stock-take 2026").
- Save. Vinosoft creates a stock movement per line, groups them together, and shows the new result stock for each article. Any line it couldn't book is listed with the reason.
Export the count
- Export downloads the current count as a CSV file.
- Export to Excel downloads it as an Excel workbook.
Correction history
Every correction you save is kept. Open the History to review past stock-takes. Each row shows:
- Date — when the correction was booked.
- SKU and Description — the article.
- Quantity — how much was booked.
- Direction — In (added) or Out (removed).
- Storage — the storage location.
Edit a history entry
Open a history entry to correct a mistake in a past stock-take. You can adjust each movement's date, quantity and text, then save to write the changes back.
