Manage shop assets

The Assets screen is your shop's media library. It holds the images and other files you use across your online shop — product banners, page content, and theme media such as logos or background pictures.

Open the Assets screen

Go to Shop → Assets to see your file and folder structure.

Upload a file

1. Navigate to the folder where the file should live, or create a new one first (see below).
2. Click Upload in the toolbar.
3. Select the file(s) from your computer.

Uploaded images show a thumbnail preview in the file list so you can recognize them at a glance.

Organize your assets

• Click Create folder to add a new folder, so you can group assets — for example, by campaign or page.
• Right-click a file or folder to rename or delete it.

Use assets in your theme

Some theme settings — such as logos, banner images, or other media groups — let you pick files straight from your asset library instead of uploading them separately.

1. Go to Shop → Theme → Media.
2. Next to the media slot you want to fill, click Add files.
3. In the picker window, select one or more images from your asset library and confirm your selection.
4. Click Submit to save.

Use Clear selection to remove the files assigned to a media slot before choosing new ones.
